Hostel B47
Our History —
Hostel B47 is located in one of the most sought after areas in Reykjavik, close to Hallgrímskirkja Church – Reykjavik’s main landmark. Its tower can be seen from almost everywhere in the city.
The central bus station is within walking distance.
The main shopping street, Laugavegur, is nearby where you will find Cafes, pubs, shops and Restaurants are only 5-15 min walkawy. To explore the sourndings check here

Hostel B47 literally has the best of the city on its doorstep to make your stay gratifying and unforgettable!
Hostel B47 is housed in a beautiful and historical building – the former city clinic (Heilsuverndarstöðin). It is easily recognized by its tower.
Hostel B47 has been decorated indoors with murals (by the Portuguese artist Tiago) representing various film and music themes – like Pulp Fiction, The Godfather, Lord of the Rings, The Beatles and several others.

About Hostel B47
Hostel B47 is located in the center of Reykjavik within 5 minutes walking distance from main shopping street and all services you would need: Cafes, bars, shops, pubs, restaurants and travel services.
Hostel B47 situated in the historical house Heilsuverndarstöðin and this house was build in 1952 and it took 7 years in the making. The architect of the building is Einar Sveinsson one of most known architect and he had a large part in forming Reykjavik city center.
